What we collect

STD Ally does not collect test results, diagnoses, or lab reports. You don’t need an account, email, or login to use the routing engine. When you describe your situation in our intake flow, that information stays in your browser session and isn’t sent to or stored on our servers.

Optional reminders

Reminder features are coming later. Once they ship, the only fields stored will be the email address you submit and the reminder date you choose — never test results, exposure details, symptoms, or providers selected. You’ll be able to unsubscribe at any time.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages people visit and which features they use. It is aggregate, privacy-friendly data — no individual-user tracking, no Google Analytics, no third-party tracking pixels, no advertising or retargeting cookies.

Outbound links

When you click an outbound button to a third-party testing provider (e.g. STDcheck, LetsGetChecked, Quest Diagnostics), you leave STD Ally and are subject to that provider’s privacy policy. Some of those links are paid links — if STD Ally has been approved for the provider’s affiliate program, we may earn a commission on bookings made through them. Free public clinics and ACA preventive screening are included even when STD Ally earns nothing.

No HIPAA-protected information

STD Ally is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. We do not collect, store, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA. We are an information and routing service.
